In 2007 we implemented Allscripts electronic medical records, which can reduce medical errors and improve your medical care.  The CDC national ambulatory medical survey shows that only 6.3 % of physicians have fully functional systems like ours.  Only 20.5 of physicians nationwide even  have basic systems.   We are way ahead of the national average! And coming in 2010 look for a patient portal that will enable our patients to have electronic access to their lab results and our office with secure messaging!

Sunflower Medical Group Urgent Care (Mission Office)

No appointment needed, just walk in!  The hours are from 5 to 8 weeknights, 9-2 Saturdays, and 10-2 on Sundays. The urgent care will see ages 3 to adult for treatment and the urgent care center takes most insurance plans. We can do minor stitches, x-rays, and labs. And, unlike the pharmacy clinics, A board-certified physician is always there.  call 913-432-2080.

Appointments

When you call for an appointment, we will want to know if it is a routine or a sick visit. Every effort will be made to work you into the schedule if you are ill. You may phone or fax  your routine appointment requests.

Prescription Refills

Please have your pharmacy fax or electronically send your refill request to us. Please give us a minimum of 3 days to process the request. Don't wait until you run out of pills to get your refill! It is our office policy that we do not refill narcotics or any controlled substances after hours.
